Working Patterns: Rotating Shifts

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's fast-paced manufacturing and packaging team in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
  3. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or similar manufacturing.
  2. Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.

A highly skilled electrical engineering professional with technical experience is required. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, PLC/automation experience, and the ability to produce safe systems of work. They should be capable of contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, process, or service. This is an all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role, including conveyors and processing end-of-line packing. Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organization of the engineering plant are also essential.
