About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our luxury nursing home in Wallsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, driving business growth, and promoting a culture of kindness and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of empathy and kindness.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
  • Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Have oversight of all records to ensure that the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring that the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of managing a nursing home.
  • A minimum of a Level 5 NVQ Leadership and Management.
  • A Registered Nurse and hold an active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) certificate and PIN.
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and management qualities, with a dynamic and flexible approach to the role.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels.
