Amazon is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to spearhead the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance initiatives for our selling partners. Extended Producer Responsibility is a crucial environmental policy that mandates manufacturers, producers, and distributors to manage the lifecycle of their products and packaging, particularly at the end of their use.
This role necessitates collaboration and proactive engagement across diverse business units to facilitate environmental compliance processes. The Program Manager will focus on supporting compliance initiatives for selling partners within the European Union.
Key Responsibilities- Design, coordinate, and launch innovative EPR programs that align with legal mandates in the EU, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

- Collaborate with technical and operational teams across different time zones to develop new mechanisms that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the program team.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong willingness to understand environmental regulations—especially those pertaining to Extended Producer Responsibility—and a proven track record in program management. Experience in leading complex and technical projects is essential.
Flexibility in roles is key; the candidate should be comfortable supporting initiatives as well as taking the lead, demonstrating a hands-on approach to drive projects to completion.
About the TeamThe EPR compliance team is responsible for ensuring that Amazon's transactions are managed in accordance with recycling regulations. This includes overseeing product transactions that are subject to regulatory requirements, such as shipping packaging and product recycling, while also keeping our selling partners informed about compliance initiatives.
