Are you an experienced Estimator seeking a new opportunity in the commercial fit-out industry? Buildspace Group is looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing project costs, ensuring our bids are both competitive and financially sound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate project budgets based on detailed estimates and relay cost information to project managers and clients.
  • Prepare and present competitive bids and tenders for fit-out initiatives.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties related to project costs and timelines.
  • Propose alternative materials or methodologies that could lead to cost efficiencies.
  • Track project expenditures against estimates and budgets, pinpointing any discrepancies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, tender submissions, and communications with suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accreditation.
  • CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) membership.
  • AACE International (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) certification.
  • CSCS Card.
