About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and be at the forefront of a new phase of business growth, bringing new products to market for a market-leading business. As a key member of a newly created team, you will be tasked with generating accelerated growth by leveraging new investment technologies and introducing new products into the market.

  • You will work directly with key customers who require the new innovative product grades or via distributors to access key regions and/or markets where the new products are required.
  • Your single focus will be new business development, pipeline generation, and being the critical link between the Operations and Technical teams, and emerging customer and market trends.
  • You will be experienced in understanding the technical capabilities of new products and accustomed to in-depth conversations with customers and distributors. A technical understanding of the Polymer, Masterbatch, or Conductive Compound sectors is highly desirable.
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director, your critical responsibility will be to raise the value of the international revenue stream, winning and managing customers with excellence at all times.
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an outright sales hunter with a proven track record of new business development success in Industrial/Plastics or Chemicals markets, preferably across international geographies beyond the UK. You will have a relentless drive to develop, secure, and win new customer or distributor acquisitions, knowing exactly how to structure business development processes.

You will be a profound expert in developing and winning partnerships, with a talent and skill set that is without question. Your business development background will have been gained from an entrepreneurial, intelligent environment, and you will be able to demonstrate ownership of new business wins in a global marketplace.
