We are seeking a dedicated and qualified pharmacy technician to play a vital role in the efficient management of chemotherapy and supportive medications for patients in our Oncology Unit. This position is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of technical pharmaceutical duties, contributing to the overall pharmacy experience for our patients. As the role progresses, there will be opportunities to advance to a senior pharmacy technician position, which includes leadership and management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute technical pharmaceutical tasks and provide support to senior pharmacy staff within the Aseptic Services.
- Oversee the organization and supervision of chemotherapy supply to various hospital departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
- Facilitate effective training programs for technicians and assistants in Aseptic Services.
- Contribute to proposals aimed at improving service delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Work as an accredited checking pharmacy technician upon qualification.
