Job Summary
The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics to join our team. As a leading specialist orthopaedic unit in Europe, we offer a unique opportunity for a talented individual to develop their expertise in Young Adult Hip Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of high-quality surgical procedures for Young Adult Hip conditions, including hip arthroscopy, pelvic/femoral osteotomy, and complex arthroplasty surgery.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other members of the Multidisciplinary team to ensure maximal efficiency within the department.
- Contribute to the Clinical Governance structure developed by the Trust to monitor, maintain, and develop the quality and effectiveness of care.
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development and meet the requirements for Continuing Medical Education defined by the relevant Royal College.
- Respond promptly to any circumstances that may result in increased clinical risk of adverse outcomes.

The department undertakes a comprehensive range of hip and knee surgical procedures, with a focus on Young Adult Hip Surgery. The appointee will be expected to have a particular interest in this area and demonstrate quality fellowship training.
