About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing expert quantity surveying services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of tender allowances and prepare accurate valuations.
  • Measure and value works on site and from drawings, ensuring compliance with Main Contract and Subcontract conditions.
  • Administer and advise on valuation dates, preparing and submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
  • Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections to inform business decisions.
  • Provide standard reports and internal valuations, ensuring compliance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in quantity surveying, preferably with experience in the construction industry. You should have a solid understanding of JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
