As a Warehouse Operative & Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting incoming deliveries for quality, quantity, and condition.
  • Verifying product accuracy and completeness prior to storage.
  • Organizing and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensuring accurate stock levels and inventory management.
  • Packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
  • Maintaining accurate records of activities and transactions.
  • Complying with all food safety, health and safety, and company standards and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numeracy and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Operational awareness and understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, and DFT requirements.
  • Self-motivation, commitment, and enthusiasm, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Due to the nature of this role, we will be conducting a full five-year reference history and applying for a basic DBS check and GSAT before starting. Applicants with non-UK based references will require the appropriate DBS check and translation of documents. Any gaps in employment must be accounted for.

Working hours are 6:00 to 14:30, with a 4 on 2 off sliding rota.
