Job Responsibilities

As a Hydraulic Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing the hydraulic testing of pumps, motors, valves, actuators, servos and landing gears from a variety of rotary and fixed wing aircraft platforms.
  • Fault diagnosing hydraulic and mechanical fluid power systems.
  • Monitoring stock levels for hydraulic fluid and consumables.
  • Completing daily/weekly maintenance checks of test rigs.
  • Maintaining and improving housekeeping in all areas of the Test Bay.
  • Supporting continually improving safety by addressing both physical safety issues and safety attitudes within the fluid power section.
  • Documenting all training both internal and external.
  • Adhering to industry standard QA rules and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in mechanical/hydraulic systems.
  • Proven experience in a hydraulic testing environment.
