Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Bar Manager.
Employment Type: Casual part-time hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Compensation: £12.25 per hour.
Roehampton Club is a distinguished private member multisport facility located in south west London, offering a diverse range of sports such as golf, tennis, and squash, alongside a comprehensive catering service, all provided with exceptional quality.
Role Overview:
The primary responsibility is to assist in the daily operations of the Food & Beverage Department.
Key Duties:
- Deliver outstanding member satisfaction by adopting a proactive and positive service approach.
- Maintain high standards of service and cleanliness throughout all Food & Beverage areas.
- Serve Food & Beverage items while promoting additional sales opportunities, adhering to the club's service protocols.
- Perform essential bar operations including inventory management, stock rotation, and preparation tasks.
- Participate in daily pre-shift briefings to review upcoming events, special requests, and product offerings.
- Regularly clean and inspect storage areas and service rooms to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Process cash transactions and payments in line with club policies.
- Comply with all health, safety, and security regulations as mandated by the club.
- Engage actively in departmental meetings to enhance team collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting.
- Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance.
- Strong time management capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety protocols and hygiene standards.
