About the Role:

Our client, Bond Williams Limited, is seeking a skilled Land and Site Buyer to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for identifying and securing prime land and sites for residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Acquisition: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential land and site opportunities, and negotiate deals to secure the best possible outcomes.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to ensure our client remains competitive in the industry.
  • Feasibility Studies: Collaborate with the property and finance teams to assess the viability of potential projects, taking into account factors such as environmental assessments, zoning approvals, and title searches.
  • Negotiation: Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to secure the best deals on land and site purchases.
  • Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process to ensure that all necessary checks are completed before finalizing land and site purchases.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the property sector, with a strong understanding of land acquisition and site procurement.
  • Associate or chartered member of RICS or similar is beneficial but not essential.
  • High energy, 'can do' attitude, and a strong work ethic.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the Southwest/South Central UK.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of planning legislation and development processes.
  • Ability to conduct market research and feasibility assessments.
