Job Summary:
The Vascular Science Unit at UHBW Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Vascular Scientist to cover a 12-month maternity period. The ideal candidate will have accreditation with the Society for Vascular Technology, HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist in Vascular Science, or be nearing the end of their STP training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently interpret and report results using specialized vascular knowledge, producing an overall diagnosis and identifying and acting on incidental and/or urgent findings appropriately.
- Provide direct teaching, training, and supervision to STP and vascular practitioner trainees.
- Actively participate in and support colleagues in clinical research, audit, innovation, and service evaluation projects.
