Multistaff Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking to hire 3 dedicated Machine Operatives to become part of our expanding team within the plastic moulding sector.

This role offers the potential for permanent employment following a successful trial period. Immediate start dates are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely handling large plastic moulds weighing between 20kg and 70kg.
  • Efficiently loading and unloading moulds into the Mac3 moulding machine.
  • Changing mould plates utilizing hand tools as required.
  • Trimming excess plastic from finished moulds to ensure quality.
  • Conducting thorough checks for defects in moulds.
  • Reporting any production-related issues to the Supervisor.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
  • Consistently adhering to health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with hand tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with operating CNC machinery is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven capacity to work efficiently and competently.

Working Hours:

  • Afternoon shifts: Monday to Thursday from 13:45 to 21:45, and Friday from 11:15 to 16:45.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: £12.10
  • Overtime: Saturday at £18.15 and Sunday at £24.20 per hour.
