About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our store operations team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and support your team, leveraging our Leadership and Company Principles to drive success
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure seamless store operations
- Create an environment where your colleagues can thrive and succeed alongside you
- Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to maintain efficient shifts
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences every time they visit our store
Requirements
- Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment
- Effective delegation and team motivation skills
- Patience and a friendly demeanor, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Passion for thriving as a key part of the Store Team
- A proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
