About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Principal Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea, a leading engineering consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering coordinated, collaborative, and innovative design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver public health design advice to clients across various sectors, including education, healthcare, retail, residential, and commercial.
  • Design and specify above and below-ground drainage systems, rainwater and roof drainage designs, hot and cold-water services, and fire suppression systems to meet client requirements and standards.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain technical expertise and knowledge in public health engineering.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in public health engineering.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in public health engineering, with a strong understanding of drainage services, including rainwater and domestic water services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficient in CAD and Revit, with experience in producing calculations, reports, and specifications.
  • Conversant with relevant British Standards and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
