Our Team
We have a team of 450 colleagues at our Wisbech site, working together to manufacture premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for major retailers like Asda and Co-op.
Your Role
As a Sauce Cook/Lasagne Cook, you'll be responsible for:
- Mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne.
- Following recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across batches and deliver high-quality products on time.
- Efficiently carrying out assigned operations or tasks, meeting all output targets and contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies.
- Maintaining excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards.
- Resolving running problems and issues.
- Handling food ingredients and following manual lifting processes to handle 5kg to 20kg weighted resources.
- Participating in training and mentoring of new staff.
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve the production process.
- Communicating effectively with your area leader.
