Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at O-I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
This is a Monday-to-Friday, day-shift role that requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety. You will work in a variety of environments around the site, including confined spaces, heights, and shop floor areas.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including grinders, drill presses, and calipers
- A valid FLT license and IPAF certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
