Resourcing Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Bias Shift Technician to join our team in a dynamic and cutting-edge environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Bias Shift Technician to work in our modern data centre facility. As a Mechanical Bias Shift Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, and cooling towers, to ensure the smooth operation of our data centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical systems to ensure the smooth operation of our data centres.
  • Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure to guarantee maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections, testing, and reporting to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Participate in energy efficiency initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably within a data centre or critical environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, and cooling technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
