Sodexo is seeking a skilled Weekend Cook to join our team at Augustus House Approved Premises. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare meals for residents, adhering to strict food hygiene standards.
- Ensure the highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
- Manage and control food stock, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor portion control and maintain accurate records.
- Report any accidents, near misses, or damage to the Catering Supervisor.
- Ensure the kitchen is opened and closed at the required times and secured when not in use.
- 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking.
- Experience of working to strict food hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and cook a variety of cuisines.
