As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support. We are seeking a dedicated professional to help lead our residential service, where we provide exceptional care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our environment is welcoming and supportive, backed by a dynamic team committed to making a positive impact.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of staff dedicated to fostering independence among our clients. Key tasks will involve developing and implementing personalized support plans, conducting assessments of care needs, recruiting and training new staff, performing supervisions and appraisals, managing medication competencies and audits, participating in multi-disciplinary meetings, and assisting the Registered Manager with daily operations. Your leadership will be vital in ensuring high standards of care management.

Participation in the on-call rota is expected, although this may vary based on service requirements.

This position is ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, whether by empowering colleagues or supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals.

We are looking for candidates who possess both the necessary experience and values aligned with our mission. Therefore, our ideal Assistant Service Manager should have prior experience in a care management capacity and hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, along with experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
