About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Company Lawyer to join our client's in-house legal team. As a Senior Company Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the business on commercial contracts, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the business on commercial contracts, risk management, and compliance.
  • Advise on options and opportunities to mitigate risk and promote legal compliance throughout the business.
  • Draft and negotiate complex and high-value commercial agreements.
  • Oversee work allocation across the team and take decisions on how to resource the work, balancing cost with expertise.
  • Deal with complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas, such as annual reports and accounts, companies house submissions, budget management, and contract management for the crown commercial services framework.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE.
  • Experience in commercial contracts, commercial litigation, or corporate law.
  • Strong legal drafting skills and good communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of fostering and building lasting internal and external stakeholder relationships.
