Griffin Fire is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Security Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As a Fire Security Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for maintaining fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine services of fire and intruder alarm systems to prevent malfunctions and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable works, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain impeccable conduct and deliver the highest standard of customer service, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Keep concise and accurate records of work completed, ensuring easy access to information and facilitating efficient decision-making.
- Complete your Fire & Security Systems Qualification, enhancing your skills and knowledge in the field.
Requirements:
- Qualified to A Level or BTEC, with an Electrical qualification or similar being an advantage.
- Exemplary in conduct and appearance, possessing excellent communication skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability are essential attributes for this role, as you will be required to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability and desire to manage your workload and course work efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Full, manual UK driver's license, with the ability to pass a driving test within the first 18 months of employment.
- GCSEs in Maths and English grade 4+.
- Ability to travel regionally, including travel in and out of London, as required by the role.
