Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the classroom teacher to facilitate effective independent learning and academic progress for students.
2. Prepare educational materials and organize the classroom for upcoming lessons.
3. Provide assistance tailored to the learning and care requirements of students, including personal care when necessary.
4. Implement established behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct among students.
5. Work cohesively as part of the classroom team and assist in the onboarding of new staff members.
Qualifications:
- A Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance or Health and Social Care is preferred.
- Prior experience working with individuals with SEND is essential.
