About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team on a long-term, temporary basis. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lesson content to pupils within your assigned classes, providing an adaptable yet informative approach catered to your pupils' learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lesson content to pupils within your assigned classes
  • Provide an adaptable yet informative approach catered to your pupils' learning needs
  • Work with support staff within the classroom to provide tailored support to individuals
  • Provide a safe and calm learning environment
  • Mark pupils' work and provide feedback

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) with a specialism in English or similar
  • Experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) or similar
  • Ability to teach up to GCSE level
  • Adaptable, patient and passionate about working with pupils and making a difference
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
