We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our specialist Sussex-wide Family Eating Disorder Service (SFEDS). As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, specialist applied systemic family therapy services to clients, their families, or carers with highly complex presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior-level supervision and governance to a defined group of systemic family therapists in SFEDS, promoting best practice and staff development.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to develop and promote evidence-based practice within allocated resources, guiding the team on future developments.
- Lead on agreed parts of the clinical and social care governance framework within the care group/service, ensuring seamless integration of services.
- Supervise and support the psychological assessment and practice provided by other systemic therapists and clinical staff, providing clinical and professional leadership.
- Manage a complex caseload, providing direct clinical work and groups with young people and families, facilitating multidisciplinary team meetings, and supporting systemic case consultations.

Requirements- Registered with UKCP
- Highly skilled in specialized systemic assessment and therapy for patients with eating disorders and their families
- Able to provide specialist advice and consultation to CAMHS colleagues and external agencies, working autonomously within professional guidelines
- Able to support systemic and family practice within the service, providing effective leadership and management, staff supervision, consultation, and training
- Considerable experience of working with young people and families with eating disorders, CAMHS, and change management/implementation
- Approved postgraduate/masters-level qualification in a recognized psychological therapy, leading to recognized professional accreditation in Systemic Family Therapy
- Professionally registered as a psychological therapist with a relevant registration body
- Post-qualification training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice
- Training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training, supervision, and/or other fields of psychological therapy
