Fire Alarm Engineer and Service Engineer

Are you a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in electrical fire safety and maintenance? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Engineer and Service Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter.

About the Role

We are a leading Fire & Security Company with a turnover of £25M and coverage across the UK, including London. We pride ourselves on offering excellent training and development opportunities to our employees and using only the best available products to deliver high-quality services and projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance of Gent Fire alarm systems, Fire Panels, and Emergency Lighting.
  • Undertake all electrical works within the area in an efficient and safe manner, with repairs undertaken as appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence to the company Health and Safety policy.

The Package

  • Salary: £36,500 plus door-to-door travel.
  • Plenty of overtime paid at 1.5x.
  • 40-hour week.
  • Learning and development opportunities, with a focus on core skills and growth.
  • 3% employer pension contribution.
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 1 extra day for every year served up to 25 days.
  • Company van (Berlingo) with fuel card and plant.
  • Mobile phone and laptop.
  • Uniform and PPE provided.
  • Experience in dealing with all types of electrical fire life safety works within the services sector, including Fire Alarms and Panels.
  • Gent Fire Alarm experience.
  • Clean driving license.
  • DBS cleared.
