Leading cross-disciplinary engineering initiatives, collaborating in small teams with engineers from various specialties to create sustainable and reliable services. Establishing and upholding technical designs in line with cloud best practices, ensuring accurate deployment in cloud environments while advocating for automation. Collaborating with talented engineers on large-scale, technically complex projects, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. Required Skills and Experience
We seek Engineers who are eager to dive into challenges and learn quickly. While we do not expect you to meet every requirement, a broad range of experience with modern cloud technologies is desirable. Key qualifications include:
Proven knowledge and, ideally, certification in designing and implementing services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with expertise in infrastructure as code (demonstrable experience with IaC tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible). Experience with agile methodologies, possessing strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively. Solid understanding of CI environments and their role in automation, including the ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure. Demonstrated experience in various projects, including cloud migrations, monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and integrations with collaboration tools), modern platforms (containerization and orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes), and cloud financial management (FinOps). Evidence of core engineering competencies, with proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.Security Clearance Requirements
To be considered for this role, obtaining security clearance is essential.
To achieve SC clearance, candidates must have resided continuously in the United Kingdom for the past five years, along with meeting other criteria.
During the recruitment process, you will be asked questions regarding your eligibility for security clearance, including your country of residence and nationality.
Some positions may be restricted to UK Nationals for security reasons, and you may be required to provide information about your citizenship during the application process.
