Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Asset Evaluation and Repair

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Oxford Biomedica. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for evaluating assets, determining and executing routine preventative maintenance activities, and assessing and implementing major fault repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate asset performance against determined criteria.
  • Coordinate external engineering resources for specialist repairs and maintenance of assets.
  • Complete quality documentation for critical failures.
  • Escalate events impacting engineering assets.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • An apprenticeship within a relevant discipline, NVQ 3 Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven experience within an engineering maintenance function.
  • Experience within a GxP Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is preferred.
  • Good computer literacy skills with experience of Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Experience in regulatory/statutory regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety within an Engineering environment.
