About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our newly established repairs department. As a Repairs Department Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of repair technicians, prioritizing and scheduling repairs, overseeing quality and compliance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate a small team of repair technicians, ensuring they are deployed effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Repair Scheduling: Efficiently organize repair requests, ensuring jobs are completed on time to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure all repairs are executed to the highest standards and meet safety regulations.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering top-notch service and swiftly resolving any concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to streamline workflow and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement maintenance and repair procedures, while introducing a new CRM system to optimize efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Installation or Servicing (or equivalent) within the lift industry.
  • Management Experience: A track record of managing repair activities and leading a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain an organized workflow.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for keeping customers happy.
  • Tech Savvy: Experience with CRM systems is preferred, but a willingness to learn and implement new technologies is essential.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure and adjusting to shifting priorities.
