Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Culinary Trainer to join our team in our care facilities. This role involves working in a supportive environment where you will be responsible for the culinary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare daily nutritious meals tailored to the dietary requirements of residents.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring that all food purchased is fresh and within budgetary constraints.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a culinary role within a healthcare or hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends.
  • Possession of a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, with a willingness to pursue further qualifications.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation or Catering is preferred.
