Job Title: Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel, East Midlands Gateway. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages across England and other parts of the UK.

6am starts, Mon-Fri with up to 4 nights out each week, but usually 1 or 2.

£760 per week for 48 hours

Overtime at £20.60 p/h after 48 hours per week Monday to Friday

Overtime at £23.78 p/h Saturday or Sunday

£30 per night out

Job Description

This Class 1 HGV Driver role involves working directly for our customers, on contract. We give training where necessary to familiarise you with the role and bed you into the job. These HGV roles are independent and are ideal for drivers that like to think for themselves.

ADR deliveries will be a part of this job, so applicants who already hold their ADR license will be prioritised. The customers try and route you to the same areas as much as possible, so that you get to know the customers and the quickest transport routes.

This Class 1 HGV role involves doing multiple deliveries or collections per day to commercial premises across England and other parts of the UK.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
  • A valid C+E license.
  • A valid Digital tacho.
  • At least one year's experience on Class 1 work (Desirable).
  • A current ADR license, all classes except 1&7 in tanks would be a big advantage (Desirable).
