We are seeking a skilled Food Production Operative to join our dynamic Productions team at our Shaftesbury site. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, from manufacturing to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place products onto the moving production line at designated stations.
- Mix and load ingredients into machines, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
- Monitor and maintain the correct formation of products.
- Decant finished products from racks and ensure proper storage.
- Pack finished items into relevant packaging, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Assist in all areas of production, including manufacturing, packing, and dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Stack trays and baskets safely, following site procedures.
Requirements:
- Basic English skills for effective communication.
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision, following instructions.
- Reliability, hard work, and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and progress in your role.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.71, canteen facilities, free Level 2 Food Safety Qualification, and all necessary PPE. Overtime rates are paid after 37 hours, and we provide opportunities for training and career progression.
