Clinical Secretary for Orthopaedic Surgeons

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to provide administrative support to our Trauma and Orthopaedics team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Medical Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department, working closely with management, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including patient information and clinical pathways
- Manage the Consultant's diary and clinic typing
- Update the Patient Administration System (PAS) and Medway system
- Support other specialties within the Business Units as needed
Requirements
- GCSE English Language and Maths Grade C or equivalent
- Typing, Audio and Word/Text Processing skills to RSA III or equivalent knowledge acquired through further experience
- Recent Medical Secretarial experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, PAS/Medway, and 18 week RTT pathway
