The Role


This is an exceptional opportunity to join an award-winning, modern, dynamic, and supportive law firm offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals.


The firm's leading private client team acts for executors and trustees on both contentious and non-contentious matters and is recognized across the region for its outstanding client care and high-quality work.


Due to the development and expansion of the firm, it is now seeking to appoint a Senior Private Client Solicitor to work alongside existing partners, driving a resilient and varied legal practice as well as supervising junior lawyers in the team.


The Private Client team brings in a significant portion of the department's fees, therefore the ideal candidate must have a strong understanding and must have gained experience working on probate matters, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and tax.


The Ideal Candidate


  • A Private Client Solicitor with at least 8 years post-qualification experience or equivalent
  • Able to attend business networking events to bring in new work
  • Represent the firm through external and internal presentations
  • Deliver talks at local business groups and community organizations
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets, prioritize, and manage a varied caseload
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
