Job Title: Children & Families Social Worker

We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker to join our team in East Lothian. As a Children & Families Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, developing and implementing care plans, and providing support and guidance to children, families, and carers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
  • Developing and implementing care plans
  • Providing support and guidance to children, families, and carers
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver effective interventions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
Requirements:
  • Member of the PVG scheme
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Experience working with children and families
