The Main Purpose of the Role
To be a key part of our Warehouse team, ensuring all business requirements and customer demands are met in full.
To ensure the correct and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while meeting all OTIF (on-time, in-full) targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading of vehicles using relevant material handling equipment.
- Stock put away and replenishment.
- Pallet and case picking.
- Preparing pallets ready for dispatch.
- Loading trailers ensuring all pallets are travel-safe and correct to the manifest.
- Assisting the inventory team with stock taking as and when required.
- Carrying out rework on pallets when required (de-top, re-stack, case sort, etc.).
- Supporting other departments with workload when volume dictates.
Requirements
- License for or experience of operating Counterbalance, Pivot, and PPT trucks.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-sufficiency and ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines.
- Good timekeeping and highly organized.
- Must have own transportation to work.
- Excellent written and numeracy skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Minimum of 1 year's experience of working in a Warehouse environment.
- Experience with using RDT scanning equipment.
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when needed.
Health & Safety
- Maintaining compliance with site H&S standards at all times.
- Attending relevant training courses.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by performing general housekeeping where necessary.
- Ensuring all lifting and moving of products are carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
- Supporting the site safety culture at all times.
