TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join a dynamic and modernising firm in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements, with experience in tax compliance and advisory within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimising tax liabilities.
  • Conduct research on tax issues and developments, and effectively communicate findings to clients and colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters and providing proactive solutions to meet their needs.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicate implications to clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other members of the tax team and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.
  • Support the firm's modernisation and transformation initiatives by embracing new technologies, tools, and methodologies to streamline tax processes.
Requirements
  • CTA / ATT qualified
  • Significant private client/ personal tax expertise
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients
