Package Delivery Assistant

UPS Limited is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Driver's Mate. This permanent role involves assisting UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations along a specified route. The successful candidate will perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment, involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages, while ensuring exceptional customer service through efficiency and dedication. The role requires a flexible and organized approach, with good communication skills, common sense, and a customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to prioritize their workload, collect payment where necessary, and complete all paperwork to ensure time commitments are met. The successful candidate will start at £12.04 per hour, rising to £12.53 after 12 months, and will be entitled to a range of benefits, including a company pension scheme and corporate discount programme. UPS operates a 'promotion from within policy', with all employees having the opportunity to progress. The role is 20 hours per week, from 8am to 12pm, Monday to Friday.
