Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Detectronic Ltd. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of our Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network
  • Carrying out installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment onsite
  • Diagnosing problems and taking appropriate action with minimal supervision
  • Working safely and effectively as part of a two-man crew
  • Traveling to other parts of the UK when needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a two-man crew
  • Resourcefulness, hands-on, and practical skills
  • A full clean UK driving licence, held for at least 2 years
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and in all weather conditions
  • Polite and respectful attitude when accessing manholes at people's homes or business sites
