We are seeking a seasoned Surveyor / Project Manager, preferably Chartered MRICS / FRICS, with a proven track record in managing projects ranging from £100k to £1M+ in value. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering relationships, delivering exceptional client service, and maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proactive in ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery, upholding quality standards
  • Experience in insurance-related projects is highly advantageous
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and effectively resolve issues, adapting to daily demands based on client needs and service level agreements
  • Strong communication skills, adept at managing diverse stakeholders with both verbal and written proficiency
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of residential and commercial properties, including building pathology, restoration techniques, and adherence to regulations
  • Familiarity with relevant Health & Safety and CDM legislation
  • Possession of a full UK driving license and readiness to travel as required

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our experienced adjusters, where the claims process is primarily led by the adjuster, necessitating additional surveying expertise to expedite and resolve insurance claims efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include conducting initial assessments of property damage to a high professional standard, aiding in the identification and agreement of defect diagnoses, and ensuring compliance with Planning, Building Regulations, Party Wall, and CDM requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Additional tasks may involve coordinating testing (ACMs), preparing reports, addressing complaints, and ensuring adherence to performance and procedural standards. All claims will necessitate detailed appraisal reports with budget estimates and recommendations.
