Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Holgates Holiday Parks. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare food for service, ensuring dishes are presented to a high standard
* Set up the kitchen in preparation for service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
* Assist and delegate tasks to kitchen porters, ensuring efficient workflow
* Rotate stock and implement health and safety and food hygiene practices
* Clean the kitchen daily, maintaining a high level of hygiene
* Cook food to a high standard, meeting deadlines and presentation requirements

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, with a strong understanding of culinary techniques
* Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and refrigeration units
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, working effectively in a team environment
* Excellent time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
* Level 3 in Professional Cookery is desirable, but proven experience in a kitchen environment is essential
