About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior MRI Radiographer to join our team at Ramsay Health Care Clinical. As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care and attention to detail.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Accountable for MRI safety, ensuring that all equipment is safe and fit for purpose, and reporting any faults in line with Ramsay Health policy.
- Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
- Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers and Imaging Manager, working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure that all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements, and that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Participate in on-call rota, responding promptly to any calls and attending site within one hour of activation.
- BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), with a postgraduate qualification and/or high levels of technical knowledge (desirable).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a wide variety of MRI scans, including cardiac, small bowel enterography, and liver imaging.
- An understanding and empathetic approach to patients and staff, with excellent communication and team working abilities.
