About the Role

Eden Brown is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead their growing Electrical team. This is a key leadership role, where you will manage a talented group of engineers, drive complex and high-profile projects, and play a crucial role in expanding their team's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the Electrical Building Services team.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of electrical services for a wide range of building projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Take responsibility for project management from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
  • Drive technical excellence and innovation in our project approach.
  • Help shape and grow the Electrical team, contributing to recruitment, training, and overall development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in building services design and project management.
  • A track record of leading and delivering successful projects within the building services industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering tools.
