Senior Commercial Underwriter Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Underwriter to join our team at One Underwriting. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the profitable development of our commercial insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with a panel of brokers across the UK.
  • Identify new scheme or account expansion opportunities.
  • Support the underwriting of commercial insurance policies, including Commercial Combined, Package, Contractors, Tradesman's Liability, and Property Owners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a deep understanding of insurance underwriting principles.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in underwriting and trading in our product range.
  • A good technical understanding of insurance underwriting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and brokers.
  • A good team player, able to collaborate and work effectively with others.
  • Organised and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Account management experience, including any analytical/account performance.
