About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team at PragmatIC Semiconductor. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in optimising the throughput and efficiency of our semiconductor facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimisation: Analyse and optimise semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce queue times, and increase throughput on individual tools and the fab as a whole.
  • Facility Layout Optimisation: Optimise the layout of equipment and production facilities to maximise space utilisation.
  • Equipment Integration: Work closely with equipment vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance within the manufacturing environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with equipment engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment, and prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to present to management.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Utilise statistical tools and methodologies to analyse production data and identify opportunities for improvement, and use simulation software to simulate our process flow and implement any learnings on the actual line.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in industrial engineering, within the semiconductor industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools and methodologies, experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
