About Us:
We are a small, friendly residential conveyancing team seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our team. As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for handling transactions from start to finish, including freehold sales and purchases, leasehold sales and purchases, new build/development work, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Risk Assessment Forms after reviewing AML searches & SOF/SOW
- Keep and update client case management system
- Liaise with third parties, including clients, estate agents, solicitors, etc.
- Complete accounts paperwork for monies received and monies out
Requirements:
- Qualifications as CLC or CILEX desired but not required
- Sound legal knowledge of residential property law, practice, and procedure
- Confident and friendly telephone manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of dealing with new build/development work
- Managing relationships with site sales staff and clients
- Familiarity with the specific risks and considerations associated with buying off plan and long stop completion dates
