About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at Iconic Resourcing. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical and tax planning advice to clients, working closely with other members of the Tax Team, Partners, and Client Relationship Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in business tax, personal tax, and capital taxes to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Supervise and manage the personal tax return process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
  • Participate in written negotiations with HMRC on client matters, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Monitor tax compliance positions using tax administration software, maintaining up-to-date internal control records and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
  • Liaise with the client service team and colleagues in other disciplines to provide a coordinated service to clients.
  • Contribute to tax advisory and planning work on clients and other ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring a high-quality tax compliance service.

About You:

  • You will have the ability to complete tasks accurately and timely, prioritize conflicting deadlines, and work proactively, as well as communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
  • You will have a good working knowledge of UK tax legislation, project and time management skills, and the ability to understand client business needs.
  • You will be confident in client-facing situations and possess IT literacy, with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
