Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Senior Analyst (HR Advisor) – Band 3. This role will provide professional, consistent, and commercially compliant HR guidance and advice services to employees and line managers within Cigna UK.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality HR and employee relations advice, demonstrating resilience and influencing skills to support line managers in resolving performance management, absence management, and other employee relations issues.
  • Manage internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR function, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Support the HR Business Partners, UK HR Manager, and HR Director in driving continuous improvement and customer service excellence aligned with the overall business and HR strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR COE partners to ensure a strong focus on employee relations, staffing processes, reward programs, performance management, absence management, and effective communication processes.
  • Provide fresh insights and ideas to streamline services, review HR policies, and update them as required following company, regulatory, and compliance updates.
  • Support Cigna Health & Wellbeing Initiatives, Reward and Recognition Programs, and all HR projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication with the HR Team and COE partners, liaising with internal teams such as Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Finance, Compensation & Benefits.
  • Assist HRBP's and the UK Head of HR in supporting the full employee lifecycle, compiling and maintaining employment records, and preparing HR reports and information.
  • Support HR communications, events, and seminars, and continuously learn best practices to improve HR efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years general HR experience, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Detailed understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to apply best practice codes of practice from CIPD and ACAS.
  • Employee Relations skills and experience, with the ability to operate as a respected and influential member of the HR team.
  • Ability to manage time and workload to meet deadlines and provide an agile and responsive service to customers, while managing expectations.
  • Willingness to work in office environments in both Greenock and Glasgow, with a minimum of 2 days per week and more as service needs dictate.
