Project Engineer

City Rail Link Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer (Systems) to join our team. As a key member of our Systems team, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency between other architectures and across various design teams.
Key Responsibilities- Collate information from design change requests and provide guidance to the Systems and Delivery Directors on the commercial impact and future benefit of the change request.
- Develop and own the system architecture within your remit.
- Build working relationships and a common understanding with the design teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify system interfaces for all areas and submit to the interface management team.
- Identify system artefacts (products, assets, sub-systems) ensuring alignment with the System Breakdown Structure.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar.
- 3+ years professional experience in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of railway systems, terminology, and interfaces.
City Rail Link is New Zealand's largest infrastructure project to date. When it is complete, Auckland will have its first underground metro and three new world-class stations that will completely revolutionise the way people travel, work, and live in the city.
